I was feeling spontaneous last night and decided to add another hole to my body i.e a piercing. I googled for a studio in Myrtle Beach and a huge list came up. I have a few piercings to start off with and have visited almost all of the studios on Seaboard Street. I wanted somewhere a little cleaner and more professional I guess. I ran across Elite Body Piercing of which according to the reviews was the best one in South Carolina. I decided to give it a try.
As soon as I got there I was happy to see that they weren’t all too crowded and that from the outside it looked pretty nice. I went right in and talked to Guy, the owner, about getting my cartilage pierced. I was looking for something work friendly. I filled out some paperwork, gave a copy of my id and picked out my hoop. Almost immediatley Guy started cracking jokes and lightening up the air.
I’m not a big fan of needles and yet I find myself attracted to piercings. Guy was telling me jokes and talking about his pack of dogs as he pushed the needle through my ear. It was over before I even knew it had begun. I wasn’t worried about the pain to begin with, but I honestly didn’t feel a single thing. For only $25 it was everything I could of asked for and more. I even bought a few extra belly button rings while I was there.
All in all, Elite Body Piercing is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone looking to get anything pierced. Their prices are super reasonable, they have a great selection of jewelry, and the staff is hilarious.
