1. Police shoot man as he beats toddler to death:
I don’t know what this guy was thinking. Secondly, the people who saw this happening just let the guy push them away as he stomped the two year old? I’m sorry but if I see something like this happening (not that I have) but my adrenaline takes over and I would have taken that guy out. I don’t care how much bigger than me he is.
2. Police investigate wife of five dead husbands:
Why didn’t they catch on after 3 dead husbands? Why does she look like she lives in a trailer in the back woods if she has got the income of five dead men?
3. Mother abandons child at Walmart:
Because he could have totally survived on the GI Joe in his backpack. I hope he has a green card.
3. Local DMV banning WTF on license plates:
All I have to say is WTF?!

I agree on #1. Clearly it must have gone on for a long time, as it was in a remote area, the police arrived by helicopter, and the child was NOT pronounced dead on the scene… that all means there was a LOT of watching happening. Even if they are all really scared, I don’t understand why nobody said “Let’s slash his tires, then I’ll tackle him… somebody else grab the kid and drive to the hospital.”
On the one hand, I understand the fear: I’ve been in a situation where someone drew a gun, and my flight mentality kicked in pretty hard… but I’ve also seen an unarmed guy threatening a woman in public, and my gut reaction was to brace myself for a fight. I don’t understand how nobody charged in.

@ Brad- the media made a comment that the road it all happened on was surprisingly busy that night. Of the people that stopped I’m sure there were enough people to overpower the one guy. I would have found a stick or something laying around and knocked him across his ugly head.
Its just sad that a poor little boy had to die and for it to turn out to be his father who murdered him makes it even worse.
